Spring Term Extracurriculars
All programs will run for 8 sessions. Program dates are from Apr. 13 - Jun. 8 which includes a make up date for Monday classes affected by the May 18 holiday.
All after school programs will run from 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.
Sessions offered during lunch recess are highlighted in blue and will run from 12:00 - 12:40 p.m., including two sessions of Chess and one session of the new Bollywood Beats & Dance program!

Bollywood Beats & Dance
In this upbeat Bollywood dance program, students learn fun, structured five-minute routines inspired by the colourful mix of classical, folk, and contemporary styles that make Bollywood so exciting. With supportive, step-by-step instruction, they’ll build rhythm, coordination, balance, and confidence while exploring expressive movement and cultural influences through dance. Classes are age-appropriate and inclusive for beginners and experienced dancers alike, offering a lively way for students to stay active, be creative, and shine. Program fee: $220.
ChesS Lessons
Get ready to think ahead, spot patterns, and outsmart your opponent! Students will learn and strengthen chess skills through fun, structured lessons led by former Canadian Chess Team coach and FIDE Chess Master Youri Otchkous. Each session includes guided instruction plus supervised practice time so students can build strategic thinking, focus, patience, problem-solving skills and confidence at their own pace, from beginner to advanced. Program fee: $200 (recess) or $250 (after school), chess sets provided.
Code Ninja’s
Code Ninjas is a fun, hands-on coding program where students learn real programming skills by building their own video games and completing creative coding challenges in a game-like environment. Through the Code Ninjas CREATE curriculum, students progress at their own pace while strengthening problem-solving, logic, and confidence with each new project and level. Creative Clay: Introduction to Lippan Art Workshop
In this hands-on art workshop, students will explore the creative possibilities of clay and decorative elements while designing intricate geometric and patterned artworks. Using clay, colourful pigments, and small mirrors, they’ll build fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and artistic confidence through playful experimentation and problem-solving. By the end of the program, students will complete 2 to 3 unique pieces to bring home. Program fee: $285, all art supplies included.
Miller’s Taekwon-Do
Build confidence, strength, and character through traditional Taekwon-Do training. Students will learn from multi-time world championship winning instructors in a supportive, high-energy environment that helps them grow both on and off the mat. Along the way, students develop key life skills like confidence, courtesy, discipline, perseverance, responsibility, and improved physical fitness. Program fee: $250.
Obotz Robotics
OBotz is a hands-on STEM program where students build and program real robots while learning the fundamentals of coding, engineering, and problem-solving. Students will explore how circuits and sensors work, create mobile and wireless-controlled robots, and take on exciting builds like robotic arms and humanoid-style robots, all through a structured, level-based pathway that builds confidence, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. RYU Karate
RYU Martial Arts Academy is a family-run martial arts program in Brampton dedicated to helping students build confidence, focus, and self-discipline in a supportive and structured after-school environment. Students learn core karate foundations, including kihon (basics), kata (forms), and bunkai (applications), while also developing coordination, flexibility, physical fitness, and practical self-defense skills.
Our after-school programming incorporates engaging drills, learning-based games, team-building activities, and age-appropriate mindfulness practices to support both physical and personal development. A Certificate of Achievement is provided to recognize student effort and progress. Students who successfully complete three sessions are eligible to test for their next belt level, supporting continued growth and advancement within the program.
